Dr. Bhupendra Nath Tripathi, Deputy Director General (Animal Science), ICAR laid the Foundation Stone for the Farmers’ Training-cum-Student’s Hostel and Community Hall at the ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (ICAR-NIANP) Bengaluru, Karnataka today.
In his address, Dr. Tripathi urged for organizing the brainstorming sessions on challenges faced by the Animal Science sector in the country. He applauded the quality of the research publications of the scientists. The DDG also visited the Centre for Climate Resilient Animal Adaptation Studies.
Dr. Tripathi also released 5 Technical Publications- Buffasol, A novel semen extender for buffaloes; AB Free – Phytogenic blend as antibiotic replacement for poultry; Nutritional Package for Fertility (in Kannada) – A brochure on body condition score for goats and ICAR-NIANP Calendar containing the various farmers’ friendly advisories during the occasion.
Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Director, ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru, Karnataka highlighted the Institute’s various achievements, awards, recognitions and the technologies generated and commercialized.
