Drug firm Mankind Pharma will donate Rs 100 crore to the families of Veterinarian and Paravet staffs who lost their lives fighting COVID-19 Pandemic. The company plans to start releasing the money soon and hopes to complete it within few months sources confirmed.
As India is facing deadly second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Veterinarians and other Paravet workers are continously providing healthcare and other facilities to the animals. They are risking their lives to provide these facilities at the farmers doorstep. Being the front line workers they are highly exposed to this deadly disease.
Many dedicated heroes have lost their lives in the process, As a homage to them, Mankind Pharma have pledged a fund of ₹100 crore to support and care for the families of these lost warriors.
