Haryana Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Mr. J.P. Dalal has urged the bankers to dispose off the loan applications received on the Atmanirbhar Haryana portal on priority. The Atmanirbhar Haryana portal was launched by the state government for agriculture and related areas under Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
Mr. Dalal urged to the bankers through video conferencing at a Sub-Committee meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee on various subjects in Chandigarh recently. He also called upon other leading banks in the districts, including the lead bank of the state, Punjab National Bank, to give priority to Pashu Kisan Credit Card, Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, Mudra (Shishu), Differential Rate Interest (DRI), and MSME Revival Interest Benefit Scheme and to issue cards to maximum applicants.
He said that in view of the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s goal of doubling farmers’ income by the year 2022, Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme is being implemented on the lines of Kisan Credit Card so that farmers can boost their income from animal husbandry along with farming. This is an ambitious plan of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Campaign. Therefore, along with government, it is the responsibility of bankers as well to come forward in making this plan successful.
