Integrated Livelihood Support Project (ILSP) is funded by International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). The overall objective (goal) of ILSP is to reduce poverty by enabling rural households to take up sustainable livelihood opportunities and to integrate them with the wider economy. Uttarakhand Gramya Vikas Samiti (UGVS) is a registered society under The Societies Registration Act 1860 and is implementing Component 1 of (Food Security and Livelihood Enhancement) of the project in 37 hill blocks of Almora, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pauri and Dehradun districts.
UGVS requires the services of consultants for the implementation support in food Processing, value addition and other technical services at the district and cluster level for livelihood collectives (Self reliant cooperatives). The consultancy services shall be on purely temporary basis which will be ended by 31.3,2021. Note:
- Project Director shal have all rights reserved to increase/decrease numbers as per requirement, change of place of posting, postpone or cancel above consultancy services without assigning any reason.
- The age of consultant should not exceed 45 yrs on dated 01.4.2020.
- Consu|tants be proficient in MS Office (specially in word, excel and Power point), Hindi, English speaking and report writing.
- Consultants must be self motivated, committed, team builder and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Consultants should preferably have own laptop to perform the services at the work place.
- Candidature of Consultants can be cancelled if unfair and undue pressure from any sources is exrted.
- A list of consultants may also be prepared on the basis of their merit for future requirement.
- Preference will be given those candidates who have any other such qualifications/experience in addition to above which fulfil the objective of the project.
- Selected Consultant will have 75% of field work and 25% desk work.
