*The pay scales and other service conditions for the above posts wherever applicable will be as per Punjab Govt. Notification No.7/204/2012-4 F.P.1/60 dated 15.1.2015 and circular No. 7/204/2012-4 F.P.1/66 dated 15.01.2015 and any other instructions issued by Punjab Govt. from time to time in this regard.

The University will prepare a score card of merits for each post. Ten (10) eligible candidates as per merit for one post, shall be called for interview/practical test/any other test, as

The interviewed candidates will have to score at least 50% marks to be eligible for selection.

If at any stage it is discovered that the candidate has submitted false certificate/ degree/used unfair means will not only be summarily rejected but proceeded against legally.

For post Sr. No. 13 to 23

The NET essentiality for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted, for the candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009 shall be exempted subject to the conditions that

  1. Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;
  2. Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by atleast two external examiners;
  3. Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted;
  4. Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which atleast one must be in refereed Journal;
  5. Candidate has made atleast two presentations in conferences/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D.

For post Sr. No. 13 to 23 *

In case National Eligibility Test qualified candidates are not available, the candidates without NET may also be considered for appointment. Such candidates shall require to qualify National Eligibility Test at the earliest opportunity. Final decision on this clause, however would rest with the University.

Applications, which are incomplete/ not on the prescribed form/ received after the due date/ received without the prescribed application fee etc. shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
